I’m Mike Brown, founder and managing director of Off the Planet® VISION AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT.
I established Off the Planet® in Taranaki in 1997, as a realisation of my passion for people – working to empower them and to develop their potential as individuals and to contribute significantly within a team environment.
With a focus on VISION, LEADERSHIP and TEAMWORK, we have developed a formal three-step process of ASSESSMENTS, PLANS and ACTION to help organisations lift the performance of their people and to help the people grow through their experience of work.
Off the Planet® provides workshops, facilitation and personal coaching to:
• Provoke peak performance
• Lift people to the next level
• Motivate staff to achieve full potential
• Plant and nurture a ‘can-do’ psychology
• Develop a culture of purpose and enthusiasm
To deliver these services, Off the Planet® has developed an extensive range of coaching and training instruments that can be used in varying combinations to meet the specific needs of client organisations. We call this our ‘instrument case’ – a valuable resource of proven value and effectiveness, with which (following appropriate training) those meeting our qualifying criteria will learn to successfully conduct professional Off the Planet® seminars, workshops and personal coaching programmes.
Naturally, franchisees receive full support, counselling and encouragement through the franchise service office and through the collegial culture we wish to develop throughout the franchise network as we expand our operations – a culture in which we can all learn and contribute to our collective, on-going success. We will be a mutually encouraging team, enjoying regular conferences together, with franchisees being keen to participate because of the obvious benefits.
Our vision is to raise up a national team of consultants who will successfully transform personal and organisational performance through the effective application of our vision and leadership principles – and who will be recognised in the market place as the best in our fields - a team in which our people gain satisfaction (and a good income) from helping others.
